ASU: Fierce, versatile defensive back was a two-year member of the Sun Devil football team...two-year letterman...totaled 130 career tackles, including 5.5 for loss (17 yards)...recorded one career sack (seven yards) and three career interceptions...played in 25 career games, making 20 starts...one of the nation's most accomplished junior college players in 2008 and 2009...enrolled at ASU in January 2010 and participated in spring drills in 2010...participated in 2012 Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game...was one of four midyear junior college transfers in ASU's 2010 class and one of six total junior college transfers to sign with the Sun Devils this year...the only defensive junior college prospect to sign with ASU in 2010...covered ground well in the defensive secondary and had excellent speed and burst with the ball in his hands.

2011: Appeared in all 13 games, making 11 starts at free safety...recorded 66 tackles (45 solo), an interception, four pass breakups and a forced fumble...ranked fourth on the team in tackles...was the team's leading tackler in two games...led the team with 10 tackles, including six solo, against Illinois Sept. 17...recorded six tackles, including five solo, and three pass breakups vs. Oregon State Oct. 1...led the team with nine tackles and grabbed his only interception of the season in a win over Utah Oct. 8...made seven tackles vs. Arizona Nov. 19...collected four solo tackles and a pass breakup in an upset over then-No. 19 Missouri on Sept. 9...forced a fumble vs. Colorado Oct. 29.

2010: Started all but three games for the Sun Devil defense to earn his first letter...64 tackles (47 solo) ranked him fourth on the team...first career Sun Devil sack and interception vs Portland State...second in team tackles Sept 25. vs # 5 Oregon with seven (six solo)...intercepted Andrew Luck for career-long 30 yard interception return Nov. 13 vs Stanford...followed up with team-high 11 tackles (eight solo) in 55-34 win over Pac-10 opponent UCLA...tied for third highest pass break-ups for the season (three).

JUNIOR COLLEGE: A 2009 graduate of the College of San Mateo (Calif.)...named the 2009 Defensive Player of the Year for California junior colleges and a First-Team Junior College All-American by Scout.com...regarded as a four-star prospect by Scout.com...intercepted 13 passes over his two seasons at the College of San Mateo...added 119 total tackles during that span...totaled 70 tackles, seven interceptions and four forced fumbles as a sophomore in 2009...recorded 49 tackles, six interceptions and two sacks as a freshman in 2008.......selected ASU over Arizona, New Mexico State, Tulsa and Utah...committed to ASU on Jan. 16, 2010...coached by Larry Owens at the College of San Mateo.
