Freshman Jon Rahm won his second tournament of the year by shooting a 5-under 67 in the final round of the San Diego Classic on Tuesday. Rahm shot a 7-under 209 (72-70-67) en route to leading ASU to a tie for second with TCU, as San Diego State won the event.

Freshman Max Rottluff tied for 16th with 4-over 220 (78-73-69), while Spencer Lawson (75-71-75) and Austin Quick (77-74-70) tied for 20th at 5-over 221. Freshman Alberto Sanchez tied for 44th at 10-over 226 (80-70-76).

Rahm entered the tournament tied for fourth in the nation in birdies with 93, and he added 13 in the 54-hole tournament. He also won the Bill Cullum Invitational, and now has seven rounds in the 60s.
