POSTGAME NOTES: Carrick Gets 11th Double-Double; Jahii Gets 12th 20-Point Game

20 WINS
ASU notched its fourth 20-win season under Coach Sendek in his seven years at ASU, something that ASU did just three times the previous 25 seasons to his arrival in spring of 2006.

HOME WINS
After going 15-17 at home the past two seasons, ASU is 15-3 in Tempe this year and just one win shy of the school record for home wins set in 2009-10 when it was 16-4.

HALFTIME LEADS
ASU is 16-0 when it leads at the half this year and 89-21 under Coach Sendek.

CARRICK NOTES
Carrick Felixhas been as steady as can be in the past nine games with almost as many double-doubles (six) as turnovers (9) in 335 minutes. He is averaging 14.3 points and 8.3 rebounds in that time and has nine steals. He has eight double-doubles in 14 Pac-12 games which leads the league after his 23-point, 11-rebound effort tonight.

Wednesday marks the 74th all-time meeting between the Cougars and Sun Devils, as ASU now leads the series, 38-35...Arizona State is 22-13 vs. Washington State in Tempe...ASU has now won the past four in Tempe, with the last Washington State win coming on Jan. 29, 2009...it also marked the 12th sweep of Washington State in 35 Pac-10/12 seasons for ASU, but the first since 2009-10 and just the second sweep of Washington State in the past 10 years...the 12 sweeps is tied for the most against any Pac-12 school, as it has also swept Oregon and Washington a dozen times.

JORDAN BLOCK-SHYNSKI
In Coach Sendek's first six seasons (197 games) at ASU, the Sun Devils had nine blocks four times. It has had at least nine blocks nine times this season. Jordan Bachynskihad five against Washington State and now has 164 career blocks. The Sun Devil career record is 191 (Mario Bennett from 1991-95). He needs just 13 blocks to set a new Pac-12 record and with five blocks vs. Washington State became just the sixth Pac-12 player with at least 100 blocks.

--Freshman Jahii Carsonis averaging a Pac-12 best 36.6 minutes per game, the best mark by a freshman in Sun Devil history (the Beard lighting up NBA averaged 34.1 in 2007-08) and most by a Pac-12 frosh since O.J. Mayo averaged 36.9 in 2007-08.

--He has set the school freshman mark for assists with 133, breaking the 28-year old mark of 114 set by Bobby Thompson in 1983-84.

--He is averaging 19.2 points in past 12 tilts and notched his 12th 20-point game vs. Washington State tonight (21). The only Sun Devil freshmen with more is James Harden (16 in 2007-08) and he matched Ike Diogu(12 in 2002-03).
