Arizona State shot a 22-over 310 at the Southern Highland Collegiate Masters at Southern Highlands Course in Las Vegas on Friday and is in 15th place.
Sun Devil freshman Austin Quick shot a 3-over 75 and is tied for 40th, while senior Spencer Fletcher is at 4-over 76 and is tied for 51st. Freshman Mathias Schjoelberg is at 5-over 77 (tied for 56th), Jin Song is at 10-over 82 (tied for 74th) while freshman Stan Gautier is at 15-over 87 (78th).
Cal leads the field at the par-72, 7,510-yard course with a 2-under 286, while host UNLV is second at 1-under 287.
The tournament continues Saturday and Sunday with 18 holes each day.
ASU will next play in the GCAA Match Play Championship in Bradenton, Fla., March 18-20.
