Sun Devil freshman Austin Quick is tied for 44th after two rounds of the Southern Highland Collegiate Masters held in Las Vegas, Nev. Austin is at 6-over 150 (75-75) while fellow freshman Mathias Schjoelberg is at 12-over 156 (77-79) and is tied for 63rd.
Cal leads the field at the par-72, 7,510-yard course with a 3-under 573 (286-287), while host UNLV is second at 3-over 579 (287-292).
The tournament continues Sunday with 18 holes.
ASU will then play in the GCAA Match Play Championship in Bradenton, Fla., March 18-20.
Senior Spencer Fletcher is at 14-over 158 (tied for 69th with 76-82), Jin Song is tied for 72nd at 16-over 160 (82-78) and Stan Gautier is tied for 77th at 20-over 164 (87-77).

ASU won the Las Vegas Intercollegiate in the spring of 2000 and in December of 1991...Sun Devil All-American Jesper Kennegard won the individual title at the Southern Highlands Intercollegiate in the spring of 2010...2000 U.S. Amateur champion Jeff Quinney won the 2001 UNLV Rebel Classic...Phil Mickelson and Brett Dean tied for the 1991 UNLV Rebel Classic title...Dean won the 1990 UNLV Classic while Mickelson won the 1989 UNLV Classic...Billy Mayfair won the 1987 UNLV Classic.
