GILLING TO HIT SHOTS
In front of family who flew in from Denmark for a few weeks, Jonathan Gilling posted a career-high six three-pointers, including five in the first half. Gilling had 18 points, the third-highest total in his career. His 38 minutes is second this year only to his 39 vs. Arkansas on Nov. 23. He now has 87 rebounds on the year (7.3 per game) after getting 54 rebounds all of last season.

BIG NIGHT FOR THREE-POINTERS
The 14 three-pointers by ASU marked the 12th time in school history it had hit 14 three pointers, and it ties for the second-most in a road game. ASU hit 16 at Brigham Young on Dec. 1, 1992, and also had 14 at Oregon on Jan. 30, 1993. Eight of the top 12 games have happened under Coach Sendek's watch.

A GREAT JAHII NOTE
Sun Devil freshman Jahii Carson is averaging 17.9 points and 5.3 assists per game through 12 games. According to ESPN Stats, no freshman has averaged 17 points and five assists in a season since Shaheen Holloway of Seton Hall in 1996-97 when he averaged 17.3 and 6.3. He posted 18 points and five assists vs. Texas Tech, but 16 of the points were in the second half. He outscored Texas Tech 12-4 in a key 5:50 stretch late in the second half to seal the deal as a seven-point lead lead went to a 15-point win. Carson matched his season high with 39 minutes (also vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Dec. 1).
THREE-DOT SUN DEVIL DATA
ASU used the same starting lineup of Jordan Bachynski, Jahii Carson, Evan Gordon, Jonathan Gilling and Carrick Felix for the 11th straight game. ASU used 12 different starting lineups last year, the most since the 2003-04 team also used 12...junior Jordan Bachynski hurt his ankle early in the second half and only played 14 minutes but notched one block, moving his season total to 54. Mario Bennett (1991-92) and Alton Lister (1979-80) are next on the single season list with 55...ASU is now 18-8 (.692) in the past six seasons when it has at least five days to prepare for a game.
CARRICK PLAYING WELL
Senior Carrick Felix grabbed nine rebounds in just 24 minutes as he played just six minutes in the second half due to foul trouble. He is averaging 9.7 rebounds per game in the past six games. In the past nine games he is averaging 16.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, has 16 blocks and is shooting 57-of-93 (.613) from the field and 12-of-29 (.414) from the three-point stripe.
TURNOVERS BACK TO NORMAL
ASU has had less turnovers than its opponent in the past five games and in the past six games is averaging just 11.7 per game. In the first six games they were at 15.5 turnovers per game.
