Leaving his mark:
Running back Cameron Marshall surpassed 2,500 career rushing yards against the Beavers to move into 10th on the school's all-time rushing list with 2,508 yards. He passed Ben Malone (2,474).
Marshall moves up:
Marshall moved into sole possession of second place on school's all-time rushing touchdown list. He had two rushing touchdowns in 2009, nine in 2010, 18 in 2011 and now has six in 2012.

Kelly carries the load:
Quarterback Taylor Kelly has been the team's leading rusher in both road losses this season (10 carries for 81 yards at the Beavers; 15 carries for 59 yards at Missouri).
Running backs as receivers:
This is the second consecutive game that a running back has been the team's leading receiver as Marion Grice finished with six catches for 43 yards (DJ Foster - 6 receptions for 71 yards vs UCLA)
Getting defensive:
Defensive lineman Junior Onyeali recovered a fumble in the endzone just 21 seconds into the game to give ASU its third defensive touchdown this season. It was the second career fumble recovery for Onyeali (first this season) and his first career touchdown.

Scoring first:
ASU has scored first in eight of its nine games this season after Onyeali's fumble recovery in the endzone just 21 seconds into the game.
First time this season:
Oregon State receivers Brandin Cooks and Markus Wheaton both went over the 100-yard receiving mark and are the first players this season to record more than 100 receiving yards against the Sun Devils.
Pressuring the quarterback:
ASU recorded five sacks from five different players, including linebacker Steffon Martin, who picked up his first career sack. Linebacker Carl Bradford also had a sack and now has three sacks in the past two games to give him 7.5 on the season.
Two points the old-fashioned way:
Safety Kevin Ayers blocked the Beavers' punt out of the endzone for a safety in the first quarter. That was the second blocked punt this season and the first safety of the season. It was the first safety for ASU since Sept. 4, 2010, against Portland State.
Winning the first quarter:
The Sun Devils have outscored their opponents 111-27 in the first quarter after putting up 16 points against OSU.
Just kicking it:
Kicker Alex Garoutte has now made 80 straight extra point attempts. He has made 86 out of 87 in his college career.
Uniform note:
It was the teams third time wearing the Gold helmets, White jerseys and Gold pants - first time was at Utah and then at Washington State, both in 2011. ASU is now 1-2 in the uniforms.
Breaking it up:
Cornerback Osahon Irabor had two pass breakups in the game and now has a team-leading nine pass break-ups this season. He only had six pass breakups all of last season.
Punting notes:
ASU's four punts inside the 20-yard line was a season high. They have pinned at least three inside the 20 in six of their games this year.
Kelly can punt - Kelly has punted seven times this season and pinned six inside the 20, including one tonight.
Not afraid to use his leg - Punter Josh Hubner pinned three punts inside the 20-yard line and has now pinned 16 punts inside the 20-yard line this season.
