Climbing the TE record book:
Tight end Chris Coyle now has 48 receptions this season, which is tied for fifth in ASU history in single-season tight end receptions (Todd Heap, 2000). He needs eight more to pass Zach Miller for No. 1.

With Coyle's 34-yard touchdown in the first quarter, ASU has now scored first in nine of 10 games this season (Missouri only exception)
Utilizing the freshman:
Running back DJ Foster's 33 receptions are the second-most receptions by a freshman in a season in school history (Zack Miller holds the record with 56 in 2004). His 475 receiving yards are the second most by a freshman in school history (Miller with 552 in 2004).
Darby to the house:
The Devils have returned three interceptions for touchdowns this season (Darby - 70 yards, Jones - 36 yards vs UO, Magee - 45 yards vs NAU). It was the fourth defensive touchdown of the year (Onyeali fumble recovery vs. OSU)
More on Darby interception:
Darby recorded his third interception of the season (and sixth of his career) and his first career touchdown. Darby now ranks sixth all-time on ASU's single-season interception return yards list with 154 (70 today, 84 coming into the game). Nathan LaDuke has the record with 255.
It was the longest interception return for touchdown for ASU since Troy Nolan's 100-yard return in 2008.
Just kicking it:
Kicker Alex Garoutte has now made 82 straight extra point attempts. He has made 88 out of 89 in his college career.
Magee's day:
Linebacker Brandon Magee had a career high 13 tackles (10 solo) and now has 201 career tackles.
Defensive firsts:
-First career interception for both Chris Young and Carl Bradford
-First career fumble recovery by Steffon Martin
On a tear:
Bradford finished the game with a career-high 10 tackles, two TFLs, including a sack, a fumble recovery, forced fumble and an interception. In the past three games, he has four sacks and five TFLs, and now has 8.5 sacks, 14 TFLs and three forced fumbles on the season. Bradford now leads the team in forced fumbles.
Winning the first quarter:
ASU is outscoring opponents 106-64 in the first quarter this season.
Uniform note:
This is the second time ASU has worn the all white uniforms (0-2). They last wore them in at Illinois in 2011 in a 17-14 loss.
Winning the turnover battle:
ASU forced a season-high five turnovers today (three interceptions and two forced fumbles). They have recorded three interceptions in three games this year (vs. NAU and vs. Illinois)
Defending USC:
It was just the second time in Matt Barkeley's career that he has thrown three interceptions (last against Stanford in 2009).
