Starting Early
It took ASU only 49 seconds to score their first touchdown against Oregon. Their score came on the offense's first play which took seven seconds, the Sun Devils' quickest scoring drive of the season.
Taking It to the House
Redshirt junior Anthony Jones scored the first touchdown of his career on his first interception of his career after taking a Bryan Bennett pass in the 4th quarter and returning it 36 yards for the score. This is the second interception returned for a touchdown for the Sun Devils this year, the other coming from linebacker Brandon Magee in the first game of the season against NAU.
Coyle for Days
Tight end Chris Coyle grabbed seven receptions for 56 yards, leading ASU in both categories. He now has 35 grabs on the season, placing him ninth ahead of Mike Pinkard and Joe Petty at 31. Zach Miller is next on Coyle's list of great ASU tight ends to surpass, who had 38 receptions in 2005. Miller currently has the most single-season receptions in school history with 56.
Freshman Sensation
As the top high school recruit out of Arizona, freshman DJ Foster has done everything but disappoint through the first seven games at ASU. Foster snatched a 23-yard touchdown reception against Oregon, showing that even the top teams in the country can't stop him. He has five touchdowns on the year which have come in five different games, and is the team's leading rusher with 310 yards.
Those Darn Ducks

Pin `em Deep...with the QB
Taylor Kelly has punted the ball three times against Oregon, moving his total to six punts this season. Five out of six of those punts have pinned the opponent inside the 20-yard line. He had a 49-yarder Thursday, his longest punt of the season, which backed the Ducks up to their own 3-yard line.
Keeping the Flags in the Pockets
