EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif.—The Arizona State men’s swimming team rounded out the final day of the Pac-12 Championships finishing the event in seventh place overall with a score of 221.5, Saturday, in East Los Angeles, Calif.
On the weekend, the team recorded seven times the NCAA will use to consider qualification for the national championships in Federal Way, Wash.
Junior Caleb Veazy took 11th place in the men’s 1650 free, swimming the event in an NCAA consideration time of 15:28.63. Sophomore Hayden Thomas finished 15th with a time of 15:45.21, while sophomore Alex Palumbo clocked in a time of 15:45.91 to take 16th.
Junior JH Vivadelli finished in 11th place in the 200 fly, recording his second NCAA consideration time of the meet with a time of 1:47.15. Team mates Yutaro Yamashita, Zac Dalby and Vince Marcucci also placed in the event, finishing 18th, 19th and 21st, respectively.
The ASU 400 free relay of Dan Jurgs, Ryan Dignan, Yamashita, and Jesper Akesson took seventh place with an NCAA consideration time of 3:00.64.
Freshman Nolan Brown took 19th in the 200 back with a time of 1:47.61. In the 200 breast, senior Derek Knittle finished 18th touching in with a time of 2:05.55.
