The Arizona State men's golf team struggled in the second round of the Olympia Fields Invitational in Olympia Fields, Ill., but senior Spencer Fletcher continued his good play and is tied for 9th.
Fletcher shot a 4-over par 74 on the second day, making him 3-over par through the first two rounds. He is seven strokes behind leader Cameron Wilson of Stanford.
ASU junior Jin Song improved from yesterday, posting a round of 3-over par 73. He is tied for 45th after being tied for 63rd after round one. He is 9-over par through the first two rounds.
Stanford currently leads with a 1-under par 559. Oklahoma State is a distant second at 10-over par 570, while Auburn sits at third with at 18-over par 578.
The first group tees off at 6:00 a.m. (PT) Sunday morning. Fletcher will start the first hole at 7:52.
