RANCHO BERNARDO, Calif.--The Arizona State women's golf team slipped into ninth place after the second day of competition in the Battle at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, hosted by San Diego State University. The Sun Devils shot a two-round total of 28-over 613 (297-316) heading into the final round of play.
Individually, junior Giulia Molinaro continued to lead ASU, shooting a 76 in the second round for a two-day total of 1-over 145 (69-76) to finish the day in fourth place.
Freshmen Laura Blanco and Justine Lee are tied in 46th with a two-round total of 11-over 155. Arizona State is competing with out junior Carlota Ciganda who was too ill to travel.
The final round of the Battle at the Rancho Bernardo Inn concludes tomorrow at the par-72, 6,336-yard Championship Golf Course.
