PALOS VERDES, Calif.--The Arizona State women's golf team maintained its fourth-place position after the second round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif. ASU shot a 10-over 294 in the second round for a two-day total of 24-over 592.

The Sun Devils were paced by junior All-American Carlota Ciganda, whose 1-under 70 in the second round vaulted her into a tie for first place. Ciganda is tied with Wake Forest's Natalie Sheary with a two-day total of 1-over 143 (73-70).

Fellow junior Giulia Molinaro is tied for 14th heading into the third round with a two-day total of 6-over 148. Tied for 28th, freshman Laura Blanco shot a 2-over 73 in the second round, with a total of 151 (78-73). Freshman Justine Lee has been consistent for the Sun Devils shooting back-to-back 76's for a two-round total of 10-over 152. Freshman Daniela Ordonez rounds out the ASU line-up shooting a two-day total of 12-over 154.

The final round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, hosted by Ohio State, concludes tomorrow at the par-71, 5,912-yard Palos Verdes Golf Club.
