TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Stallon Saldivar hit a 3-pointer with under a second left and scored 24 points, helping Northern Arizona knock off Arizona State for the second time in five years with a 69-68 win over the Sun Devils on Saturday.

Northern Arizona (4-7) beat Arizona State 75-71 its last time in Tempe and kept hanging around against its bigger in-state rival. Gabe Rogers pulled the Lumberjacks within a point on a jumper with 21 seconds left, and Saldivar followed by using an up-fake to set up his sixth 3-pointer of the game with eight-tenths of a second left.

James Douglas had 18 points and Durrell Norman 16 as Northern Arizona won its second straight win under interim coach Dave Brown. Saldivar added nine assists and five rebounds.

Arizona State (4-6) shot 56 percent, made a season-high eight 3-pointers and got a breakout game from Chanse Creekmur, who scored all 15 of his points on 3-pointers.
