MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.—Junior All-American Constantin Blaha finished third nationally in the men’s 3-meter springboard finals at the 2011 NCAA Championships, hosted by the University of Minnesota.
Blaha, a two-time Pac-10 Champion in the same event, scored a total of 450.40 in the finals on Friday. Teammate sophomore Riley McCormick finished 12th overall in the consolation finals with a score of 367.25.
Junior Cameron Bradshaw just missed the finals with a score of 339.60 in the preliminaries.
Last season, Blaha set a new Arizona State record in the men’s 3-meter springboard at the NCAA Championships, scoring 457.05 in the event.
The final round of the 2011 NCAA Championships concludes Saturday with the men’s platform, for which McCormick is a two-time Pac-10 Champion.
