LAS VEGAS - The Arizona State men's golf team, behind the play of senior Jesper Kennegard, is in sixth place following the second round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters in Las Vegas. Kennegard recorded a 2-over par 74 to help the Sun Devils to a 19-over par 595 (292-303) and is in a tie for 10th place with a 1-over par 145 (71-74).

Senior Scott Pinckney is tied for 15th at 3-over par 147 (70-77) after shooting a 5-over par 77 and junior Thomas Buran recorded a 4-over par 76 for the second consecutive round and is in a tie for 40th at 8-over par 152 (77-75) and senior Oscar Zetterwall, in a tie for 59th, shot an 8-over par 80 and is at 12-over par 156 (76-80).

California moved into the top spot on the leaderboard at 6-under par 570 (294-276), Texas A&M is in second at even par 576 (280-296) and Oklahoma State remained in third at 4-over par 580 (294-286). UCLA is fourth at 8-over par 584 (301-283), USC is in 12th and Arizona is in 15th.
