The Arizona State men's golf team fired the best round of the tournament on the final day of the Amer Ari Invitational held at the Maua Lani North Course in Hawaii (par-72/6,913 yards) as it finished tied for 10th at 25-over 898.
ASU shot a 10-under 278 (313-298-278) on the final day after shooting rounds of 313 and 298 in the opening two days. It finished at 28-over 898. Stanford shot 2-under 866 (297-283-286) for the win.
Jesper Kennegard fired a 68 in the final round and finished at 2-over 218 to tie for 16th. Scott Pinckney (79-70-71) shot a 4-over 220 and tied for 21st, while Knut Borsheim also finished in the top 50 of the 22-team tournament with a 7-over 223 (77-77-69).
James Byrne tied for 85th at 18-over 234 (84-80-70).
