Dec. 17, 2010
--ASU had season-highs in points (78), free throws made, attempted and percentage (21-of-27/.778) and fouls (27). ASU held Nevada to just seven assists, the fewest by an ASU opponent all year.
--ASU is now 19-11 (.633) in the past four years in games decided by six points or less (or overtime).
--ASU is now 14-3 (.824) in the past four years when it has at least five full days to prepare for a game.
--ASU has won 16 road games in the past four seasons, and a big reason why is the clutch free throw shooting of Rihards Kuksiks and Ty Abbott. Kuksiks made 6-of-8 at Nevada and is now 28-of-34 (.824) from the charity stripe in road games, while Abbott made 5-of-6 and is now 43-of-52 (.827) in road tilts.
--Senior Rihards Kuksiks is now 20-of-37 (.541) from the three-point stripe in the past six games. Kuksiks posted his eighth 20-point game of his career with 20 points at Nevada, and ASU is 6-2 in those games. He now has 235 career three-pointers in his career, fourth on the ASU career chart. Eddie House is third with 250. He also needs just four points to become the 34th member of ASU's 1,000-point club. Kuksiks had eight free throw attempts vs. Nevada, tied for the most in his career.
