Thoughts on the game:
"I thought our guys really gave a good effort on defense today. We were really concerned coming in about Gardner-Webb's potency on offense. They do a good job of spacing the floor, they set a myriad of ball screens at every possible angle and they shoot the ball from a number of positions really well. In the two games previous to this they were 16-for-32 coming in and to hold them to 48 points on 30 percent from the field with 17 turnovers, I thought our guys by and large did a pretty good job on defense. Not we don't have to continue to get better as well."
On the team's practice this week:
"We really worked on being a team on defense. We got caught playing every-man-for-himself on defense so we wanted to really emphasize the importance of playing good team defense and trying to have each other's backs in a better fashion."

Thoughts on the game:
"I think it was a big thing to hold them to 48. We'd been struggling defensively and we had a good hard defensive week, so it's good to see that translate to the court."
On their five-day rest between games:
"We got a chance to really get back to the basics. We didn't have worry about enough rest and things like that. We got a lot of good work in."
On the team chemistry:
"It's still a learning process for all of us. There's no doubt we're working and trying to figure out how to get ourselves in successful situations. We got one guy in Trent who we know what to do with him. Everybody knows were going to give him the ball and let him create, but we have to figure out were going to do that with the rest of us. It will come.

On his solid play the last few games:
"When you get injured, your confidence goes down, but now that I am plying more and more minutes, I have built up my confidence and the shots are going in. I wasn't concerned. I just felt bad for my guys that I couldn't help them. I knew I was going to get healthy at some point."
