Sun Devils Look Strong Heading Into The Final Round of Pac-10 Championship

Arizona State, in fourth place after the opening two rounds of the Pac-10 Championship, put on another solid team performance in the third round.

Continuing to improve on their score each round, ASU ended the day in third place at 13-over par 1093 (375-362-356). All six Sun Devil golfers finished in the top-35, including two in the top-10, en route to shooting a combined 4-under par 356, their best round of the tournament thus far.

Jesper Kennegard (72-73-71) and Scott Pinckney (76-73-73). Lurking just one stroke back, James Byrne is tied for 34th after shooting a 7-over 223 (76-73-74) three-round total.

ASU, leading Stanford and Oregon State by three strokes, will have their sights set on the University of Oregon and the Huskies of Washington heading into the final round of the event.
