Arizona State had the second best round of the day, shooting a 3-under par 285 to move the No. 9 Sun Devils into 10th place. They now have a two-round 18-over par 594 (309-285) heading into the final day of the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship.
Jesper Kennegard had a fantastic round, shooting a 5-under par 67 to bring his cumulative total to 4-over par 148 (81-67). Also moving up a few places was Stephan Gross earned his second straight 3-over par 75, giving him a 6-over par 150 (75-75) and 41st place. Braxton Marquez also finished in 41st place with a 6-over par 150 (77-73), while James Byrne ended the second day with a 10-over par 154 (81-73).
