TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -Dymond Simon scored 17 points to lead No. 24 Arizona State to its 14th straight win with a 76-35 victory over Washington State on Saturday.
The Sun Devils (22-6, 14-2 Pac-10) extended their school-record streak to stay a half-game behind Stanford and California at the top of the Pac-10 standings.
Arizona State will head to the Bay Area next weekend.
April Cook had 13 points to lead the Cougars (11-17, 4-13), who have lost four of five to fall into ninth place in the conference, a half-game behind Arizona.
Washington State missed 11 of their first 13 shots, falling behind 21-7 after an Arizona State 11-0 run with 7:34 left in the first half. The Cougars committed 14 first-half turnovers and trailed 37-17 at the half.
Arizona State opened the second half with an 18-2 run to seal the win.
