Round Two Results

The Arizona State women's golf team slipped to third after round two of the NCAA Fall Preview/Landfall Tradition. Held at the par 72, 6,325-yard Pete Dye Course at the Country Club of Landfall, the Sun Devils are 16-over 592 (293-299) after two rounds. UCLA leads the field at 7-over 583 with Wake Forest in second at 15-over 591. Individually, Cheyenne Woods of Wake Forest leads with a 5-under 139 (70-69).

Carlota Ciganda remained the low-scoring Sun Devil after round two. Currently in third, Ciganda has tallied 2-under 142 (68-74) after two rounds. Despite struggling throughout the day, Ciganda finished strong with three birdies on the last four holes. Freshman Jennifer Johnson is two shots behind Ciganda after carding the Sun Devils' day two low round of 1-under 71. She is currently even at 144 (73-71).

At 5-over 149 (74-75), Jaclyn Sweeney is tied for 33rd after two rounds. Sophomore Giulia Molinaro will enter the final round at 13-over 157 (78-79). Senior Juliana Murcia was forced to withdraw due to illness.

The Sun Devils will conclude the NCAA Fall Preview/Landfall Tradition tomorrow.
