Coach Herb Sendek:
Thoughts on the game:
"There big three, if you will, really hurt us tonight. Klay Thompson was sensational, despite our efforts to know where he was. Every time he broke free, he seem to make us pay dearly. Aaron Baynes was a force in the middle for us to contend with and Taylor Rochestie does such a great job of setting the tempo and running their club. He just always has a steady hand on the wheel. On the other end for us, we have to make shots. It's probably no more complicated than that right now for our basketball team. Certainly give Washington State credit, they're not an easy team to score against. Nobody scores very many against them, but when you have open looks, from our standpoint, our perspective, we have to knock them down. We really haven't shot the ball well since the Oregon weekend."
On the confidence level right now, especially shooting the ball:
"I don't think we feel good about our shooting right now at all. How could we?"
On Jeff Pendergraph's condition (he was injured in second half, but returned to finish the game):
"Just a cramp."
On Washington State freshman Klay Thompson:
"He has a pure, beautiful shot and no wasted motion. He has length, so he can get his shot over a number of smaller players, and he also can take it one or two bounces and get to his midrange game as well. He's a very good player."
