The top ranked Arizona State women's golf team finished day two of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational sharing the top spot with Purdue. The Sun Devils have shot a 2-over 578 (287-291) over the first two rounds of the tournament held at the par 72 6,324-yard University of Texas Golf Club.

"We had a little bit of an off day," said seventh year head coach Melissa Luellen. "We find ourselves tied with a really good Purdue team and we're just going to have to show that we're a top team and play like it."

Senior Azahara Munoz is currently tied for fourth after shooting a 2-under 70 in the second round. She has carded a 2-under 142 (72-70) over the past two days. Her compatriot Carlota Ciganda is also currently in the top 10. The freshman tallied two eagles and a birdie in the second round, but three boogies and a double boogey on Hole 9 brought her back to par. She is currently tied for seventh at 1-over 145 (73-72).

Juliana Murcia is right out of the top 10 at eleventh. Murcia has shot a 2-over 146 (71-75) over the two days. Jaclyn Sweeney and Giulia Molinaro are tied for 13th. Sweeney shot a 3-over 147 (73-74) while Molinaro finished 3-over 147 (71-76).

Playing as an individual Jennifer Osborn is tied with teammate Ciganda for seventh. Osborn finished at 1-over 145 (70-75).

"The goal tomorrow is to shoot under par and if we do that, I think we'll come away with a victory," said Luellen.

The Sun Devils tee off tomorrow at 8:45 a.m.
