Coach Herb Sendek
On how the team morale after the loss:
"We'll regroup. But I'll tell you one thing, we're excited about the NCAA Tournament. We're looking forward to competing. We definitely feel good about that."
Thoughts on the game:
"I thought we were really weary on defense. We had a difficult time getting stops. It just seemed like we were a step slow on every bounce of the ball. Our defense had lost the zip that it had in the first half. We played like a tired basketball team in the second half, quite frankly."
Thoughts on the game:
"I can't really describe my emotions right now. It's a lot of stuff, and I don't want to say something crazy because I'm really upset right now."
On the Sun Devils shot selection towards the end of the game:
"One of the things we talked about before the game was that Taj is great at protecting the basket. If you get by the guy that's guarding you, you can guarantee he's going to be there waiting for you. I guess we forget about that and he just jumped right into him, thinking we were going to draw fouls."
On the lay-up James took at the end of the game:
"Jeff was on the same side block, so I drove Taj and ran into Hackett. I tried to avoid the charge, but Taj just came over for the block."
On USC guard Daniel Hackett:
"Hackett's a great defender. It's his job is to contain me, and that's all he has to worry about."
On how USC came back after being down the whole game:
"We did a poor job on the defensive end. Sixty-six percent. That's ridiculous."
On the Sun Devils position heading into Selection Sunday:
"I think we're in a good place."
