LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The No. 6 Arizona State University water polo team lost 15-6 to No. 2 USC on Saturday in Los Angeles. The Sun Devils fall to 10-9 overall, 0-4 in the MPSF, with the loss.

Senior Addison McGrath once again led the ASU offensive attack with three goals, her 14th multiple-goal game this season and 10th with three or more goals. Sophomore Lynlee Smith added two goals while junior Kelly Phelps scored once.

The Sun Devils had plenty of scoring chances, but USC goalie Tumua Anae kept them at bay with 20 saves. ASU goalie Taylor Greenberg had four saves and Dana Harvey had one.

USC's offense was clicking on all cylinders early, as the Trojans led 7-1 after the first quarter and extended the lead to 11-1 at the half. The Sun Devils scored five goals in the second half, but it was not enough to prevent the Trojans from earning their third win over ASU this season.

The Sun Devils now have a week off from competition before hosting the ASU Invitational on March 28-29 at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center. They will face No. 8 San Jose State, No. 9 UC Irvine, No. 20 Santa Clara and Cal Lutheran over the course of the two-day tournament.
