LINCOLN, Calif. - The No. 4 Arizona State women's golf team finished runner-up at the NCAA West Regional at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course in Lincoln, Calif. The Sun Devils, who were seeded second, shot a 2-over 289 in the third round. Over the weekend, the Sun Devils shot a 6-over 870 (296-285-289). No 1 seeded USC won the West Regional.

Individually, Azahara Munoz tied for third overall. The junior All-American shot a 5-under 211 (69-71-71) over the weekend to finish one shot under leaders Therese Koelbaek of UNLV and Alison Walshe of Arizona. Junior All-American Jennifer Osborn shot a 1-under 215 (72-72-71) to place eighth.

Sophomore All-American Anna Nordqvist finished the tournament tied for 22nd after shooting 5-over 221 (77-70-74). Juliana Murcia carded a 7-over 223 (78-72-73) to tie for 35th. Liisa Kelo shot 23-over 239 (78-79-82) over the weekend.

The Sun Devils will head to the NCAA Championships, being hosted May 20-23 by the University of New Mexico at the UNM Championship Golf Course in Albuquerque, N.M.
