The ASU men's golf team is tied for eighth with a 25-over 585 (293-292) after the first two rounds of the Olympia Fields Illini Invitational. The tournament is being played at the North Course of Olympia Fields Country Club in Chicago, Ill. Junior Steele DeWald is tied for 10th with a 4-over 144 (73-71).

Oklahoma State leads the field with a 5-over 567 (292-275) and is the only team to shoot an under par score in the second round.

Sophomore James Byrne is tied for 30th with a 8-over 148 (74-74). Fellow freshman Jesper Kennegard is also tied for 30th with a 8-over 148 (73-75) and Cameron Edens is 56th with a 17-over 157 (81-76).

The teams will conclude the tournament on Monday with 18 holes.
