Eugene, Ore. - The 21st-ranked Arizona State men's golf team finished in 8th place at the 2007 Oregon Duck Invitational in Eugene, Ore. ASU shot a 25-over 889 (294-296-299). USC shot a 4-over 868 to finish in first place.
Individually, senior All-American Niklas Lemke led the Sun Devils. Lemke shot a 1-over 217 (70-75-72) to finish in fourth place. Freshman Knut Borsheim tied for sixth place after shooting a 3-over 219 (70-74-75). Sophomore All-American Benjamin Alvarado Holley shot a 9-over 225 (75-74-76) to tie for 31st. Senior Fredrik Andersson shot a 12-over 228 (79-73-76) to tie for 41st. Freshman James Dalthorp III tied for 67th after shooting a 23-over 239 (81-77-81). Senior Phil Telliard shot a 25-over 241 (85-75-81).
Next up, the Sun Devils will travel to Tucson, Ariz. to compete in the National Invitational Tournament, April 2-3.
