RENO, Nev. - The Arizona State University wrestling team placed 11th overall as a team at the Reno Tournament of Champions Tuesday night inside the Downtown Reno Convention Center in Reno, Nev. The Sun Devils closed out the 2007 calender with three individuals placing in the Top 5 as Jason Trulson (second at 197), Patrick Pitsch (fourth at 165) and Chris Drouin (fifth at 141) led the way.

Pitsch was the top-seeded wrestler at 165 pounds and went 3-2 overall to place fourth overall. The Sun Devils return to action after the New Year when they play host to the Sun Devil Duals on January 6 inside Wells Fargo Arena. ASU will face Army at noon, Grand Canyon at 1:30 p.m. and Penn at 3 p.m. Sun Devil wrestling alumni will be on hand to be recognized, including the entire 1988 NCAA Championship team, which will be celebrating its 20th anniversary of winning its only team title.
