SEATTLE, Wash. - The Arizona State women's golf team finished in second place at the 2007 Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational. ASU shot a 27-over 891 (301-295-295), nine strokes behind first place USC. The tournament, hosted by the University of Washington, was held at the par-72, 6,127-yard Sahalee Country Club in the Seattle suburb of Sammamish, Wash.

Individually, sophomore All-American Anna Nordqvist led the Sun Devils, shooting a three-round total of 4-over 220 (70-72-78) to tie for fourth. Junior All-American Azahara Munoz tied for 12th after shooting a three-day total of 7-over 223 (76-72-75). Senior Camila Sola finished in 17th after shooting a three-round total of 9-over 225 (77-76-72). Junior All-American Jennifer Osborn shot an 11-over 227 (78-75-74) to tie for 20th. Sophomore Juliana Murcia tied for 28th after shooting a three-round total of 13-over 229 (78-77-74).

USC's Belen Mozo and Arizona's Alison Walshe tied for first place, shooting a 1-over 217.

Next up, the Sun Devils travel to Palo Alto, Calif. to complete in the Stanford Intercollegiate, its final tournament of the fall season, Oct. 19-21.
