Albuquerque, N.M. - The second-ranked Arizona State women's golf is currently tied for fourth place after the first round of the 2007 Fall Preview in Albuquerque, N.M. ASU shot a 3-over 295 on the first day of competition. Duke leads the field after shooting a 5-under 287 in the first round.

Sophomore Juliana Murcia, who leads the Sun Devils, shot a 2-under 71 to tie for ninth place. Murcia carded five birdies in the first round. Junior All-American Azahara Munoz is tied for 14th after shooting a 1-under 72. Sophomore All-American Anna Nordqvist shot a 1-over 74 in round one to tie for 23rd. Junior All-American Jennifer Osborn and senior Camila Sola are tied for 60th after shooting a 5-over 78 in the first round. Senior Brooke Todare, playing as an independent, shot a 9-over 82.

The second round of the 2007 Fall Preview will continue tomorrow at the par-73, 6,069-yard UNM Championship Course.
