ASU vs #18 Washington State
On the ASU fans today:
"The crowd tonight was really special and it keep getting better. I think this student section was the best of the year. With all that's going on, it's a testament to the school and the students and that really touched me.
On his teams play:
"We were terrific on defense in the second half. Everyone focuses on the last play, but we can play would have, could have about a number of plays. We missed free throws and shots that could have changed the outcome. It was a painful loss, there's no pretending it doesn't hurt, but there's a silver lining to it.
On the team's struggle in the first half:
"This game is to unpredictable to pin it on one specific thing. There's too much randomness to the game and I can't say why we played better in the second half over the first."
