The men's golf team is just one shot out of the lead at the National Invitational Tournament in Tucson after Sunday's first round. ASU shot a 10-under 278, led by Alejandro Canizares' 5-under 67 which has him tied for second and two shots back of leader Erik Flores of UCLA.
UCLA leads the team scoring with an 11-under 277 while Arizona is at 7-under 281.
Also in the top 10 are Lenny Park (4-under 68 and tied for fourth) and Niklas Lemke (3-under 69 and tied for eighth).
