TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Danielle Orsillo scored 19 points and Briann January added 16 points and seven rebounds to help No. 14 Arizona State beat Boston University 75-53 on Friday night in the first round of the Verizon ASU Classic.

The Sun Devils will face Northern Arizona in Saturday's championship game of the ASU Verizon Wireless Classic. The Lumberjacks defeated Eastern Michigan 89-69 in the second game of Friday's doubleheader.

Jesyka Burks-Wiley led Boston University (3-3) with 11 points. The Sun Devils held Terriers' leading scorer Katie Meinhardt to six points -- nine under her average.

January scored eight points in Arizona State's 12-0 start, and had 12 points and four rebounds as the Sun Devils built a 30-20 halftime lead.

Boston University closed to 54-42 with 8:19 to play, but Arizona State scored seven straight points and the Terriers never got closer than 16 the rest of the way.

The Sun Devils and Lumberjacks will square off on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. MT. The Sun Devils will be seeking their sixth consecutive Verizon Wireless ASU Classic title.

Prior to Saturday's championship game will be a consolation game between Eastern Michigan and Boston University (4 p.m. MT).
