TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Kirsten Thompson scored 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead No. 11 Arizona State over Nicholls State 91-46 Wednesday night.
Aubree Johnson added 16 points and seven rebounds and reserve Dymond Simon had 15 points for the Sun Devils (4-0), who stretched their homecourt winning streak to 26 games.
Jamie Octave finished with 16 points and Dominique Washington had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Colonels (0-2).
Danielle Orsillo and Thompson each made a pair of baskets in an 8-0 run to get Arizona State out to an early 12-4 lead.
The Sun Devils then ran off nine- and 12-point spurts en route to a 48-18 lead at halftime.
Arizona State went on a 10-2 run to start the second half and the Colonels never got closer than 30 from there.
