CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Bryson Krueger had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead Arizona State to its first conference win, a 65-63 overtime victory over Oregon State on Saturday.
Antwi Antuahene made a runner in the lane to give the Sun Devils the lead with 8.6 seconds left in overtime, then rejected Jason Fontenet's shot with time running down. Marcel Jones got the rebound for the Beavers, but his eight-footer bounced off the rim.
Antuahene, who scored a season-high 21 points against Oregon on Thursday, finished with six points, eight assists and five rebounds. Serge Angounou added 10 points and five rebounds for Arizona State (7-8, 1-5).
Sasa Cuic had 17 points and Nick DeWitz had 14 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks for the Beavers (9-7, 2-3 Pac-10).
The Beavers led until the last shot of the first half when Krueger capped a 10-2 run with a buzzer-beating scoop to give Arizona State a 27-25 advantage.
The Sun Devils, who had lost five straight, led by five point early in the second half, but the Beavers fought back. Oregon State's Kyle Jeffers completed a three-point play to tie the score at 57 with 1:07 left in regulation.
Jones was called for traveling in the key, giving the Sun Devils a final chance, but Krueger's 3-pointer was off and the game went to overtime.
Jeffers and Chris Stephens each added 11 points for Oregon State, which was coming off victories over California and No. 24 Arizona.
Arizona State coach Rob Evans improved his career mark against the Beavers to 11-4.
