TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Emily Westerberg broke Arizona State's cold spell with a 3-pointer with 13 seconds left, and the 15th-ranked Sun Devils beat Oregon 44-43 on Thursday night.

Jill Noe missed a jumper with 21 seconds to go, but Aubree Johnson came down with her 11th rebound and passed to Westerberg, who hit the long jumper that ended Arizona State's 11:13 drought without a field goal.

Oregon called a timeout with 8.9 seconds left and got off two shots. But Eleanor Haring missed in the paint and Chelsea Wagner missed a 16-footer, leaving the Ducks (10-5, 1-4 Pac-10) with their fourth loss in six games.

The Sun Devils (13-3, 4-2) shot 13.9 percent (5-of-36) in the second half.

Kristen Kovesdy had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Sun Devils, who avoided a third straight loss. Westerberg had nine points on 3-of-14 shooting.
