Arizona State University placed 11th at the 17th annual Ping/Golfweek NCAA Preview held at the Crosswater Golf Course in Sunriver, Ore., which concluded on Wednesday. The sixth ranked Sun Devils were lead by junior Alejandro Canizares on the last day of competition.
Georgia placed first in the tournament shooting a 19-under 845 (284-284-277). ASU shot a 16-over 880 (292-299-289) to place 11th overall.
Alejandro Canizares shot a team low one-under 215(71-72-72) to tie for 16th place.
Individually, Benjamin Alvarado and Lenny Park tied for 32 after shooting a 222 (74-77-71), (73-73-76) respectively. Niklas Lemke carded a seven-over 223 (74-77-72) to tie for 39th. Phil Telliard shot a fifteen-over 231 (79-78-74) to place 66th.
Georgia's Brian Harman and Oklahoma State's Pablo Martin tied for first place after carding an 11-over 205 (69-67-69), (73-64-68) respectively.
