Led by Niklas Lemke, Arizona State University placed third overall at the Big Ten/Pac-10 challenge held at the par-72, 7,149 yard Glen Club in Glenview, Ill.
ASU shot a one-over 865 (288-285-292) to capture third place. The Sun Devils were just five strokes off the leader, Northwestern, who shot a four-under 860 (286-289-285).
Individually Arizona State was led by Junior Niklas Lemke, who tied for third, after shooting a five-under 211 (73-66-72).
Senior Alejandro Canizares shot a three-under 213 (70-71-72) to tie for fifth overall. Freshman Benjamin Alvarado carded a three-over 219 (72-72-75) to tie for 18th. Lenny Park finished tied for 30th after shooting a 6-over 222 (73-76-73). Phil Telliard shot a 24-over 240 (80-79-81) to place 69th overall.
