HANOVER, N.H. - The Arizona State University soccer team scored a goal late in regulation to force overtime before settling for a 1-1 draw with Villanova Friday afternoon at the 2005 adidas/Hypertherm Classic hosted by Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H. The draw pushed the Sun Devils' record to 4-2-1 on the season while the Wildcats now stand 3-3-2 on the season.

With a slight drizzle falling from cloudy skies in the Northeast, both teams played to a scoreless tie at the end of the first 45 minutes of play with the Sun Devils holding just a 2-1 advantage in shots. But, that all changed four minutes into the second stanza as VU's Kaley Guthrie collected a pass from Nikki Mabery to put the Wildcats ahead, 1-0.

ASU responded with six minutes remaining (84th minute) as Juanita Lawson (Sr., Orange, Calif.) made a pass to Alissa Oldenkamp (So., Chandler, Ariz.) who, in turn, made a quick pass to Elizabeth Bogus (Sr., Sandy, Utah). Bogus fired a shot into the back of the net to knot the match at one and eventually force the contest into overtime. The helper for Oldenkamp was her third on the season while Lawson collected her first of 2005.

Bogus' goal gives her 25 for her career and pushed her into a tie for third on the all-time list with fellow senior Brittany Cooper (Albuquerque, N.M.). She also tied Cooper for third on the points ledger as each have recorded 64 points (25 goals and 14 assists).

The Sun Devils close out their weekend in the Northeast with a 10 a.m. EST contest with the host Big Green Sunday morning.
