Unfortunately for the Sun Devils (9-18, 3-8 MPSF), the outcome was the same as the earlier contest as the visitors dropped a 5-2 decision to the host Tritons (16-16).

The came opened in a back-and-forth manor as both teams scored goals in the first quarter before again matching one another in the second quarter for a 2-2 tie at the intermission.
