TEMPE, Ariz. -- The ninth-ranked Arizona State soccer team (3-3) fell in overtime to Oklahoma (4-1-3), 1-0, Sunday at the Sun Devil Soccer Invitational. In the first game of the day, Sarah Johnson scored the lone goal in the 89th minute to lift Dartmouth to a 1-0 win over San Diego State.

For nearly the entire game, Oklahoma packed it in on the defensive side, leaving just one forward up top. ASU controlled the possessions through out the midfield and into the Oklahoma half, but could not convert despite out shooting the Sooners 16-3.

Oklahoma tallied the game-winning goal in the 92nd minute of play when the Sun Devil defense could clear the ball, allowing Kady Kelly the collect the lose ball and chip it in from 8 yards out.

The Sooners did not get a shot off in the first half and took their first shot 68 minutes in the match. ASU had several scoring chances with Brittany Cooper putting four on goal. Half of ASU's shots were on goal as Oklahoma keeper Catherine Wade made eight saves. The Sun Devils also posted seven corner kicks to Oklahoma's one.

Up next, the Sun Devils head out on the road to Southern California to face UC Santa Barbara on Friday, September 24 at 6:00 p.m. ASU will then head over to Malibu to take on Pepperdine on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
