LONG BEACH, Calif. (www.TheSunDevils.com) -- Freshman middle blocker Colette Meek recorded 14 kills and nine blocks to lead the Arizona State Sun Devils to a 3-2 victory over Cal State Fullerton Saturday evening at The Pyramid.

The Sun Devils jumped out to a 2-0 lead, winning the first two frames 30-25 and 34-32 respectively. ASU surrendered the next two games (21-30, 24-30) to set up the deciding fifth game. The Devils cruised to a 15-5 victory to improve to 5-3 overall and 15-2 all-time against the Titans. CSF drops to 6-4 with the loss.

Meek (Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada) recorded the most blocks by a Sun Devil since 2000 with four solo blocks and five block assists. She also hit .429 (14-2-28) with her second-highest kill output of the year (14).

Sophomore outside hitter Nicole Morton (Bonsall, Calif.) had another impressive night with her fifth double-double of the season. She recorded 17 kills and a career-high 25 digs. Junior outside hitter Sarah Watkins (Mishawaka, Ind.) also added 11 kills in the victory. Senior libero Stephanie Kohner (Anthem, Ariz.) also recorded 16 digs.

Cal State Fullerton received 17 kills each from Carley Dial and Jennifer Goins. Goins recorded a double-double adding 23 digs to her 17 kills.

ASU opens Pac-10 play next weekend on the road at No. 14 California (Sept. 23, 7 p.m.) and No. 13 Stanford (Sept. 24, 7 p.m.).
