Tempe, Ariz. (AP) - Steve Moore hit three free throws with 14 seconds left to lift Arizona State to a 67-66 victory over Cal State-Northridge Saturday.

Northridge (1-5, 0-0) led 66-64 when Moore was fouled on a 3-point attempt. Northridge had a last chance, but Austin Waggener's putback attempt rimmed out just before the buzzer.

Ike Diogu led Arizona State (5-1) with 25 points and 13 rebounds while Moore added 20. Ian Boylan led Northridge with 26 points and Davin White had 14.

Arizona State jumped out to a 16-6 lead. Northridge, though, closed the first half on a 26-9 run to lead 32-27 at halftime.

Northridge widened its lead to 55-41 midway through the second half before Arizona State started to come back. The Sun Devils went on a 17-2 run to go up 58-57 with 3:25 left.

The lead changed hands six times down the stretch. A layup by Calvin Chitwood with 30 seconds left gave Northridge its last lead at 66-64.

Arizona State had a 47-31 rebounding edge and was 18-for-22 from the line to Northridge was 8-of-8.
