*The Sun Devils (11-1) extended their win streak to nine games and are now 11-1 for just the third time in school history, as the 1974-75 and 1962-63 teams both went 15-1. The nine-game win streak is the best since the 1980-81 team won 11 straight.

*ASU is 9-0 at home after going 7-8 last year in Tempe and has already surpassed last year's overall win total.

*Sophomore swingman Bryson Krueger missed the Valparaiso game with a sprained ankle, as it marked the first time this year ASU changed starting lineups. ASU used 13 starting lineups last year, but just five in 2002-03 when it went 20-12 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Kevin Kruger started in place of Bryson Krueger and had a game-high 17 points.

*Ike Diogu is averaging 22.2 points and 11.4 boards in ASU's nine-game win streak and has posted six double-doubles on the season. He now has eight 20-point games and has scored in double-digits in all 71 career games. He was perfect in 19 free throw attempts in the tournament en route to Classic MVP honors.

*Serge Angounou is averaging 10.1 points and 7.2 boards in ASU's nine-game win streak. He had a career-high four blocks vs. Long Island after posting just two blocks all of last season. He posted his sixth-game of double-digit rebounds and his second double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

*ASU had season highs in three-point attempts (23) and matched season highs in blocks (nine) and offensive boards (25).

*Jason Braxton has 50 assists and just 17 turnovers on the year.

*ASU has outrebounded 10 of its 12 opponents on the year

*ASU has 32 blocks in its past four games. It posted nine vs. Northwestern, eight vs. Santa Clara, six vs. Long Island and nine against Valparaiso.

*ASU has led at the half in all but one game (32-27 vs. Cal State Northridge on Dec. 4).
