Tempe, Ariz. (AP) - Ike Diogu scored 24 points in 26 minutes, leading Arizona State to a 79-48 win over Jackson State on Sunday.
Steve Moore had 17 points and seven rebounds for Sun Devils, who never trailed while winning their 15th consecutive home opener. The game was part of the Las Vegas Invitational, with Delaware State traveling to Tempe on Tuesday before the tournament shifts to Las Vegas.
Reserve Antonio Williams-Parker led Jackson State (0-2) with 10 points.
Diogu, who also had seven rebounds, scored in double digits for the 60th time in as many college games.
He keyed Arizona State surges in each half - scoring seven of his team's first nine points and starting the second half with 13 of the Sun Devils' first 15.
Arizona State led 54-29 after a three-point play by Diogu with 13:04 left in the game, and he came out for good a few minutes later.
