TUCSON, Ariz. (www.TheSunDevils.com) -- The No. 23 University of Arizona Wildcats swept visiting Arizona State in three games (30-17, 30-25, 30-24) in Pac-10 Volleyball action Friday night at McKale Center.

Arizona State dropped its second straight match to fall to 8-10 overall and 3-6 in Pac-10 play. Arizona improved to 12-7 and 4-5 in league play. The match against the Wildcats marks the seventh ranked opponent ASU has faced this season.

Outside hitters Nicole Morton (Bonsall, Calif.) and Sarah Watkins (Mishawaka, Ind.) each recorded 10 kills in the loss. Freshman libero Sydney Donahue (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) had 10 digs for her sixth straight match with double-digits in digs.

Arizona sophomore opposite Meghan Cumpston led the Wildcats with a match-high 17 kills on a .438 hitting percentage. Junior outside hitter Jennifer Abernathy added 12 kills in the victory. Senior libero Kelli Mulvany led all players with 11 digs. All-American outside hitter Kim Glass only saw limited action for the Wildcats with two kills in her only game played.

The Sun Devils continue their four-match road swing next weekend with a pair of matches at No. 12 UCLA (Oct. 29, 7 p.m.) and No. 6 USC (Oct. 30, 7 p.m.).
