Dominating the Beavers: ASU continued its dominance of Oregon State with the 27-14 victory. The Devils are now 22-8-1 all-time against the Beavers and have won eight of the last nine meetings. ASU also holds a 17-3 advantage in series played at Sun Devil Stadium, including a streak of 16 straight wins over the Beavers on home turf dating back to 1972.
Perfect 4-0: Arizona State improved to 4-0 with the 27-14 victory over Oregon State. It marks the first 4-0 start during the Dirk Koetter era. ASU last went 4-0 to start the 1996 Rose Bowl season. The victory is also ASU's fifth straight dating back to the season-ending win over Arizona last year, marking the first five-game winning streak for the program since 1997.
Turnover Battle: Oregon State had three fumbles and threw two interceptions as ASU won the turnover battle 5-0.
ASU in Pac-10 Openers: Arizona State is now 9-16-2 all-time in Pac-10 openers since joining the league in 1978. This year marks just the second in the last six years that ASU has opened the Pac-10 season at home. The Devils are scheduled to open the Pac-10 slate on the road in each of the next five seasons.
17-Point Turnaround: The Sun Devils used a key forced fumble and recovery by senior Emmanuel Franklin in the second quarter into a 17-point turnaround heading into the lockerroom at halftime. Rushing TD's: Hakim Hill and Terry Richardson each had rushing TD's in ASU's win over Oregon State. The Devils entered the game without a rushing TD all season (12 previous passing TD's).
Walter Moves Into 11th in Pac-10 History: Senior QB Andrew Walter was 16-for-40 for 124 yards against OSU and moved into 11th place in the Pac-10 record books with 8,552 career passing yards. Walter also threw his 67th career TD in the victory, extending his ASU career record and remaining sixth in Pac-10 history. The 124 yards are the second fewest in a start by Walter in his 28 career starts. Walter also became ASU's career leader in passing attempts with 1,146.

Two Times The Fun: Junior linebacker Jamar Williams recorded his second and third interceptions of the season and now has four in his career. Williams joins teammate Emmanuel Franklin as Sun Devils who have more than one pick in a game this season. Franklin had a pair of INT's in the season opener against UTEP. ASU has not had two players record multi-INT games in the last four seasons. Jason Shivers had a pair of games with two interceptions in 2003 (at Oregon State) and 2002 (vs. Arizona).
Hagan's Streaks End: Junior wide receiver Derek Hagan had a pair of streaks come to an end Saturday night against Oregon State. Hagan had caught a TD and also recorded at least 100 yards in each of the last six games. He led the team with seven catches for 66 yards.

Protecting Walter: For the second straight game Arizona State did not allow a sack. The ASU offensive line, which entered the game leading the Pac-10 in sacks allowed, has given up only five sacks in four games this season. ASU finished third in the Pac-10 last season giving up just 25 sacks.
Dominating Defense: The Sun Devil defense limited Oregon State to -19 rushing yards in the contest. It is the best performance against the run since the 1992 Sun Devils limited Louisville to -78 yards (9/19/02; 19-0 victory).
Sun Devil Tidbits: Terry Richardson scored his third career TD on a 12-yard reverse late in the second quarter... Hakim Hill recorded his 10th career rushing TD and 13th overall TD tying the game at 7-7 in the first quarter... redshirt freshman Chris MacDonald had a career-high 61-yard punt in the third quarter... MacDonald had a 47.5 average on eight punts (380 yards)... senior center Drew Hodgdon made his 2004 debut after sitting out the first three games with a broken foot... sophomore defensive tackle Jordan Hill recovered two fumbles... sophomore kicker Jesse Ainsworth was 2-for-3 on field goals, including a 45-yarder in the fourth quarter, and is now 10-for-12 on the season... freshman H-Back Zach Miller caught his third TD in the last two games...
